Honda is going to bring two popular foreign scooters to India, what kind of features will there be?
Among the two-wheeler companies, the Japanese brand Honda (Honda) is once again showing the importance of India. They have plans to launch two scooters together. The preparation phase of which has already started. Honda filed a patent for the design of a pair of scooters together in this country. Named Winner X and NS125LA respectively. Note that these two models are sold by Honda in foreign markets.
Honda Winner X
Winner X is a sporty scooter. It has a 150 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. Which produces 15.6 HP of power and 13.5 Nm of torque. Connected to the powertrain is a chaindrive system and 6-speed gearbox. The 2022 model features keyless operation, full digital instrumentation, a USB charging port and all LED lighting.
Honda NS125LA
Honda's second upcoming scooter is the NS125LA. It is a family scooter with 125 cc engine. Which is a realistic model for the Indian market. In terms of overall design, it has a touch of the past. It has a functional flat floorboard. Its 124.9 cc engine produces 8.97 HP of power and 9.87 Nm of torque. It produces more power but slightly less torque than Activa. ABS can be found in its feature list.
Launch plans in India
Significant in this regard is Honda's patent filing. From which it can be said, the company has taken this step to ensure that their own models are not copied. Meanwhile the NS125LA is sold in the Chinese market. This means the engine of the scooter does not comply with Euro-5 or BS6 emission norms. So it is believed that two scooters with new engines can enter India following all the rules.

Just like in Vietnam, Winner X in India is equipped with a sporty 150cc underbone "machine", rolling on 17-inch wheels and equipped with a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Output levels are 15.6 hp and 13.5 Nm, sent to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox and chain drive system. It's also a feature-rich two-wheeler, equipped with a smartkey, USB charging port, and full LED lights.
Meanwhile, NS125LA is a 125cc home scooter product for Indian customers. The bike is equipped with a 124.9 cc air-cooled engine that produces 8.97 hp and 9.87 Nm. Accordingly, the engine will make the car more powerful. It also has many of the same features as Winner, minus ABS.
In the Vietnamese market, the same scooter model is Honda Lead with 124.8 cc equipment. At the end of 2021, Honda Lead has been launched a completely new version by the car company.
