Kawasaki Ninja 400 Summary Ninja 400 key highlights Engine Capacity 399 cc Transmission 6 Speed Manual Max Power 47.5 bhp About Ninja 400 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is expected to launch in India in January 2022 in the expected price range of ₹ 4,59,999 to ₹ 4,75,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Ninja 400 are KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 650 & Honda CB650R. Another bike similar to Ninja 400 is Honda CBR500R which is launching in December 2022 in India. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is the manufacturer’s small capacity supersport motorcycle that will receive three new colours for 2020. It continues to get a KRT edition, although the graphics have been redesigned for a fresher appeal. The lime green and black colour now gets honeycomb graphics on the side fairing and hints of red on the front fairing and underbelly, similar to the Ninja ZX-10R. The Ninja 400 also gets a black and grey paint scheme with yellow ochre graphics. Furthermore, the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is also available in a black and white paint scheme with grey and red highlights. However, it is unlikely that this paint scheme will be available in India. Beside the new colour options, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 unchanged. It uses a 398cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 47.5bhp of power and 38Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends along with a dual-channel ABS. With a powerful DNA running through its body, the Ninja 400 also takes a lot of great qualities from its bigger siblings, making it a perfect fit for both new and skilled riders. Aside from its aggressive styling, this new motorbike also got a trellis frame similar to the Ninja H2, assist and slipper clutch, as well as incredible stopping power with large 310mm semi-floating front disc brakes, which is the same ones used on the Ninja ZX-14R - the biggest in its class. For rider comfort, the Ninja 400 comes with radiator fan and side fairings. Other new features also include LED lighting, digital instrumentation, and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and immobilizer for safety. Living up to its powerful blood, the Ninja 400 is powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke, DOHC gasoline engine that can deliver up to 49 hp and 38 Nm of torque. This powertrain is then connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
