The "Calendar" feature, which enables users to quickly access their schedules and appointments from the band, as well as the "Turn off watchface Editing," which prevents unintentional changes to the watch face, are two of the new features included in the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro. The "Find your band" feature, which allows users to locate their device using their smartphone and start the band's vibration, is also included in the update.

The "Stat goal switch" function has also been added to the firmware update, giving users more control over the push notifications for stat goals. Along with improving the overall dial-related experience and resolving other experience- related issues, the update also improves the accuracy of the device's sleep, calorie, and exercise algorithms.

To enhance the performance of the device, the update also optimizes the weather cache strategy and adds message notification display icons for more applications.

The "Stat reminder" feature has been eliminated from the update, though. According to Xiaomi, the third and fourth optimizations necessitate the simultaneous upgrade of the soon-to-be-released app.

A 1.64-inch HD 2.5D AMOLED touch display with a resolution of 280456 pixels, 326 PPI, and up to 500 nits of brightness is standard on the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro. It supports Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS systems like BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, as well as Android 6.0 and higher and iOS 12.0 and above.

The Smart Band 7 Pro also has smart controls like music and remote camera control, quick message reply and incoming call alerts, as well as 5ATM water resistance, optical heart rate, and blood oxygen sensors, a six-axis motion sensor, 110+ workout modes, continuous blood flow monitoring, 24/ 7 sleep tracking, female health monitoring.

A microphone for hands-free Alexa, 150+ new band faces with AOD support, and a 235mAh battery that lasts up to 12 days with typical usage and charging time of about an hour are also included in the band. It has a wrist strap that can be adjusted from 130 to 205mm in length and weighs just 20.5g when not fastened.

Users are advised to update their device and the associated app when prompted. The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro firmware update version 1.4.70 is now available.
