Intel Core i9-13900KS
With a clock speed of 6.0GHz without overclocking, it is rumored to be the fastest desktop processor currently in use. It can now be bought for the price of $699.
The 13900K chip, which peaked at 5.8GHz turbo frequency, serves as the foundation for the Intel Core i9-13900KS. Using Intel's Thermal Velocity Boost technology, the recently released 13900KS can reach 6GHz without overclocking. It accomplishes this by consuming more electricity, peaking at 320W in a new Extreme Power Delivery Profile, and using 250 watts at the maximum turbo power rather than the usual 150.
The Intel Core i9- 13900KS is nearly identical to the 1300K, with the exception of power consumption and turbo frequencies. The performance core's base frequency has been raised from 3GHz to 3.2GHz. There are 24 cores included, eight of which are performance-focused and 16 are efficiency-based.
32 threads, 36MB of Intel Smart Cache, and 20 PCIe lanes, including 16 and 4, are present. With a BIOS update, the Z790 and Z690 motherboards will support this new 13900KS chip.
Just a few weeks before AMD is scheduled to introduce the Ryzen 7000 X3D CPUs, this Intel Core i9- 13900KS flagship desktop chipset is released. AMD has asserted that its flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D chip, which promises up to 25% better performance, will be the best processor for gamers and developers.
