In the case of other, mainly Chinese, pocket consoles and UMPC, Intel solutions also appear. However, the most powerful models are still mostly AMD, due to the more powerful iGPU. And in the case of subsequent devices, this will not change, and this is confirmed by the manufacturer in the form of AYANEO.

AYANEO Next II is to be a pocket console/computer based on next-generation AMD chips. The company boasts of using an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor and a dedicated AMD Radeon 7000 graphics chip. If this is not a mistake, instead of an APU we should get a CPU + GPU, and thus much higher performance.

Unfortunately, AYANEO does not reveal details about the specifications. We only know about the 8" screen. It's so problematic that the mobile AMD Ryzen 7000 processors are a real massacre. The Americans have deliberately complicated the nomenclature and push as many as four different architectures within one series, including the already old AMD Zen2.

The weakest AMD mobile graphics card of this generation is the AMD Radeon RX 7600S, which uses 28 CUs and draws between 50W and 70W of power. This is a lot for a handheld and would mean an absurdly short battery life. So it should be assumed that AYANEO will use an unannounced layout.

AYANEO Next II is to be officially announced soon, and it will go on sale in 2023. The console will work under the control of Windows 10. It should be remembered that devices from this manufacturer are much more efficient than Valve Steam Deck, but also several times more expensive.
