History of smartphone :

The concept of combining a phone and computing system was first developed by Nokia Tesla in 1909 and by Theodore Paraskevaks in 1971. It was then patented in 1974 and commercialized in 1993. In 1999, Japanese company NTT Docomo released its first smartphone with a data transmission speed of 9.6 kbps and a small screen.

The most popular operating system was Symbian. Around 2006 NOKIA launched symbian device and with it Windows and blackberry devices also came in the market. Around 2007, APPLE launched their first large screen smartphone which was attractive and featured the first multitouch interface. In 2008, HTC Dream launched the first Android OS-rich phone in the market, which is an open source platform. This Android OS was developed by Andy Rubin which later came under the auspices of GOOGLE which is popular now. Currently there are Android, IOS, Windows 10 etc. as smartphone operating system. On the other hand Blackberry OS, Windows, Firefox, Bada, Web OS, Palm, Ubuntu touch etc operating systems have been shut down.

We use this smartphone to talk, video chat, take pictures, social network, internet, mail, GPS tracking, compass etc. and also through various tools powered by various sensors, it is becoming more and more necessary for us. These days some expensive phones are equipped with barometric pressure and heart rate monitors and security sensors.
