Around 2007, APPLE launched their first large screen smartphone which was attractive and featured the first multitouch interface. In 2008, HTC Dream launched the first Android OS-rich phone in the market, which is an open source platform. This Android OS was developed by Andy Rubin which later came under the auspices of GOOGLE which is popular now. Currently there are Android, IOS, Windows 10 etc. as smartphone operating system. On the other hand Blackberry OS, Windows, Firefox, Bada, Web OS, Palm, Ubuntu touch etc operating systems have been shut down.
These smartphones have become an integral part of people these days. This is because smartphones currently have all the features and applications that we use constantly. We use this smartphone to talk, video chat, take pictures, social network, internet, mail, GPS tracking, compass etc. and also through various tools powered by various sensors, it is becoming more and more necessary for us. These days some expensive phones are equipped with barometric pressure and heart rate monitors and security sensors.
